1. Warranty Overview

Relaxacare® ("Relaxacare", "we", "us", or "our") provides this 10-Year Limited Warranty & Protection Plan to the original purchaser ("Customer") of eligible Relaxacare products purchased for residential use.

This warranty is designed to provide long-term protection against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, exclusions, and requirements outlined in this agreement.

This warranty represents the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Relaxacare unless otherwise required by applicable law.


2. Eligible Products

Coverage applies to qualifying Relaxacare products with a retail purchase price exceeding $1,000, including but not limited to:

  • Infrared and traditional saunas
  • Cold plunge systems
  • Massage chairs
  • Red light therapy systems
  • Swim spas and hot tubs
  • Recovery and wellness equipment
  • Other qualifying wellness products sold by Relaxacare

Coverage applies only to residential use unless otherwise approved in writing by Relaxacare.


3. 10-Year Structural Coverage

Relaxacare warrants that the structural components of covered products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of up to ten (10) years from the original delivery date under normal residential use.

Covered structural components may include:

  • Frames and support structures
  • Cabinets and housings
  • Shells and bases
  • Factory-installed panels
  • Doors, hinges, tracks, and covers
  • Internal support systems
  • Factory-installed glass and acrylic components

Coverage is limited to manufacturing defects and does not include cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, fading, discoloration, or normal aging.


4. 10-Year Functional Component Coverage

For a period of up to ten (10) years from the original delivery date, Relaxacare will provide coverage for defects in factory-installed functional components resulting from normal residential use.

Covered components may include:

  • Motors and mechanical assemblies
  • Heating systems
  • Control systems and displays
  • Electrical wiring and power systems
  • Factory-installed lighting systems
  • Factory-installed audio and Bluetooth systems
  • Sensors and control modules
  • Factory-installed operational accessories

Relaxacare reserves the right to determine whether repair, replacement, refurbishment, substitution, or alternative resolution is appropriate.


5. Service & Support Commitment

For approved warranty claims, Relaxacare may provide:

  • Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Replacement parts
  • Refurbished or equivalent replacement components
  • Technical support and guidance

Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage does not include:

  • On-site service visits
  • Travel charges
  • Labor costs
  • Electrician fees
  • Plumbing fees
  • Installation costs
  • Removal or reinstallation costs

6. Repair, Replacement, or Store Credit

If Relaxacare determines that a covered issue cannot reasonably be repaired, Relaxacare may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the product with a comparable model; or
  • Provide a store credit based on the product's current fair market value.

Store credits:

  • Are non-transferable
  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • May only be applied toward future purchases from Relaxacare

This remedy constitutes full satisfaction of Relaxacare's warranty obligations.


7. Final Sale Policy

Products covered under this protection plan are considered final sale once shipped or delivered.

After shipment or delivery:

  • No refunds
  • No cancellations
  • No exchanges except as required under warranty coverage

Warranty service, repair, replacement, or store credit shall be the exclusive remedy available under this agreement.


8. Exclusions From Coverage

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Scratches, dents, fading, stains, or discoloration
  • Improper installation
  • Improper assembly
  • Improper maintenance
  • Improper storage
  • Neglect
  • Abuse or misuse
  • Accidental damage
  • Customer-caused damage
  • Human error
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Commercial, rental, institutional, or shared use
  • Power surges
  • Incorrect voltage or electrical supply
  • Water chemistry issues
  • Environmental damage
  • Corrosion
  • Mold
  • Moisture intrusion
  • Fire, flooding, storms, or other acts of nature
  • Freight damage not reported within 24 hours of delivery

Any damage resulting from operation outside manufacturer specifications is excluded from coverage.


9. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Follow all operating instructions
  • Perform required maintenance
  • Use the product only as intended
  • Maintain proper electrical requirements
  • Maintain proper environmental conditions
  • Allow reasonable access to troubleshooting information

Failure to follow manufacturer recommendations may void coverage.


10. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Product model information
  • Serial number (if applicable)
  • Photos and/or video of the issue
  • Written description of the concern

Relaxacare reserves the right to:

  • Request additional documentation
  • Inspect products or components
  • Require return of defective parts
  • Deny claims that do not meet warranty requirements

11. Non-Transferability

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location.

This warranty cannot be transferred, assigned, sold, or inherited.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relaxacare shall not be liable for:

  • Incidental damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Indirect damages
  • Loss of use
  • Loss of enjoyment
  • Lost revenue
  • Lost profits
  • Downtime
  • Third-party expenses

Relaxacare's maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the covered product.


13. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.


14. Entire Agreement

This warranty constitutes the complete agreement regarding warranty coverage between Relaxacare and the Customer and supersedes all prior verbal or written representations.


Important Fine Print

This protection plan is intended to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use only.

Coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, accidents, customer-caused damage, human error, environmental conditions, power issues, commercial use, or any circumstance outside Relaxacare's reasonable control.

Relaxacare reserves the right to inspect, diagnose, repair, replace, or otherwise resolve any warranty claim at its sole discretion.
