Relaxacare Payment Policy

Relaxacare is committed to providing secure and transparent payment processing. This Payment Policy explains how payments are authorized, processed, and managed. Nothing in this policy limits any rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Relaxacare accepts various payment methods, including:

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • PayPal

  • Shop Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Apple Pay

  • Financing options, where available

  • Other payment methods displayed at checkout

All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

2. Order Authorization

By placing an order, customers authorize Relaxacare to charge the selected payment method for:

  • The purchase price;

  • Applicable taxes;

  • Shipping and delivery charges;

  • Additional services selected during checkout.

Orders are subject to payment verification and approval.

3. Payment Processing

Payment may be authorized at the time the order is placed. Depending on the product, supplier requirements, or payment provider policies, funds may be captured immediately or when the order enters processing.

Relaxacare reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order if payment cannot be verified or authorized.

4. Deposits and Special Orders

Certain products, custom orders, or special-order items may require:

  • A deposit;

  • Partial payment; or

  • Full payment before manufacturing or shipment.

Deposits may become non-refundable once funds have been committed to suppliers or manufacturers, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Pricing and Errors

Relaxacare strives to maintain accurate pricing and product information. However, pricing errors, typographical errors, or incorrect product descriptions may occasionally occur.

Relaxacare reserves the right to:

  • Correct pricing or product information errors;

  • Cancel orders affected by material inaccuracies; and

  • Issue a full refund if payment has already been processed.

Customers will be notified if an order is affected.

6. Fraud Prevention and Verification

To protect customers and prevent fraudulent transactions, Relaxacare reserves the right to:

  • Request identity verification;

  • Request billing address verification;

  • Confirm shipping information;

  • Require additional information before processing an order; or

  • Cancel orders that cannot be satisfactorily verified.

Relaxacare reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders suspected of fraud, unauthorized use, or unlawful activity.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Relaxacare directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Relaxacare reserves the right to provide transaction records, invoices, shipment confirmations, delivery records, communications, and other relevant documentation to payment processors or financial institutions in response to a dispute.

Nothing in this section limits a customer's legal rights under applicable law.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment processors;

  • Financial institutions;

  • Credit card issuers; and

  • Third-party payment providers.

Relaxacare is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions or payment processors.

9. Taxes

Applicable sales taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the shipping destination and applicable laws.

10. Financing Providers

If financing or installment payment options are offered, approval and terms are determined solely by the financing provider.

Relaxacare is not responsible for financing decisions, interest rates, fees, or agreements entered into between customers and third-party financing providers.

11. Currency

Unless otherwise stated, all prices and transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Payment Policy is intended to waive or limit any rights available under applicable consumer protection legislation.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with applicable law, the law shall prevail.
